Why American Church Channel (ACC)? I've always been concerned about the negativity, violence, sexuality, evil, and misinformation broadcasted by traditional media. In these trying times we are in, with pandemics and social unrest it's very important to be very careful on what we watch and listen to more than ever. The reason TV or Radio content are called 'programs' is because they program your mind! If you notice programs are repetitive and targeted! Even movies continuously have the same plot. This programming influences actions, that's why advertisers insert content before, during, or after programs which encourage consumers to buy their product or service. When the faith community broadcasts a program, traditional or secular media even follows with a disclaimer like "This network is not responsible or liable for the content of this program." They say that after spiritual or religious broadcasts, but never say that about the negative programming or harmful ads. What, are you kidding me.....ridiculous! I'm also tired of watching my favorite faith based program on secular TV then they go right back to the crap on the very next show.....really. One can't even watch a program without negative or evil ads coming on at some point: even in children's shows. So, I wanted to create a network that worshipped and praised Almighty God that the whole family could watch at any time. I also wanted to have a Black owned denomination diverse network that promoted us as Americans first and not just Black Americans! Thank you so much for your support in advance.
Control Your Thought Life!
Thoughts are things! Thoughts will be established, one becomes and attracts what you think about. As Napoleon Hill says in his book, "Think and Grow Rich" if finances are an issue then focus on prospering your soul with good character. Think on these things, "Whatsoever are true, honest, just, pure, things of good report, having good virtue and always giving praise. (Philippians 4:8) (KJ) in my words. God's grace is sufficient, so forget about perceived mistakes of the past etc., bad relations, and don't be afraid to start over. A friend of mine Dr. Willie Jolley always says, "A set back is a set up for a comeback". Remember to always put God first as He is the source, and be humble. Be Thankful, Grateful, and Faithful; this is the foundation of your happiness. Trust in God! Love and Light, JSM

James "JB" Brown
Did you know that NFL Hall of Fame Broadcaster James "JB" Brown is now an ordained Minister? Well he is and in the off season actively speaks at Churches and conferences across America and says, "That which I do in my profession is my avocation, but the Lord's work is my vocation". JB is also a very generous philanthropist supporting organizations such as St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Ron and Joy Paul Kidney Foundation at George Washington Univ. Both of us grew up in Washington, D.C. and he was a role model for me. I admired his decisions especially when he decided to attend Harvard which was unheard of for a top basketball recruit. We were both elite High School basketball players with offers from top colleges and universities all across the country, JB was just older. JB's faith and conviction to God was strong even back then. A friend and mentor, his words to me when we talked last were, "Always remember God is the source for all of us".-JSM
